Many reports have circulated today that Buffalo Sabres star forward Jack Eichel will not sign an extension if Dan Bylsma remains head coach of the Buffalo Sabres.
The reports were than quickly shut down by Eichels agent, Peter Fish.
#Sabres Eichel agent: "He is 100% on board" with an extension "assuming negotiations go well." Bylsma status "has nothing to do with it."
What does this mean to the organization? The good news is Tim Murray is meeting with owner Terry Pegula this week. Answers will be arriving sooner rather than later.
There is no question that the future of Dan Bylsma will be discussed in the meetings.
