The Buffalo Sabres have three players participating in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, and at least two of them have legitimate cause to believe their teams might make it to the championship game.
Clearly, everyone in the Sabres locker room will be cheering for all three of the players – Jack Eichel (Team North America), Rasmus Ristolainen (Team Finland) and Dmitry Kulikov (Team Russia) – to play well and win a lot of games . . . but with all three players playing on different teams, the tournament is going to end with just one player having bragging rights when the players reunite in the 716.
