Buffalo Sabres Fall Flat to New Jersey Devils

The Buffalo Sabres failed to produce a strong offensive effort on Tuesday night, dropping a 2-0 loss to the New Jersey Devils at First Niagara Center.

West Seneca native Lee Stempniak and Jiri Tlusty were the goalscorers for the Devils, who put up 21 shots on Buffalo Sabres netminder Linus Ullmark.

The Buffalo Sabres managed to throw 25 shots at Devils netminder Cory Schneider, but they just couldn’t put it in the net — and overall, honestly, it was a pretty boring game.
