Just an hour after it was announced that the Buffalo Sabres had acquired the rights to Jimmy Vesey, it was announced that the team had also signed forward Nicolas Deslauriers to a two-year contract extension.
The 25-year-old will be entering his fourth season with the Buffalo Sabres this fall.
The 6’1″, 212-pound left winger is known as somewhat of a physical force on the ice, throwing big hit after big hit and not being afraid to drop the gloves.
This past season, Deslauriers registered a career-high six goals, and added six assists for 12 points in 70 games.
