The Buffalo Sabres will be without the services of forward Evander Kane in Tuesday night’s game against Ottawa.
The team has suspended Kane for one game for missing practice on Monday.
The issue was dealt with internally, and Kane apparently apologized to his teammates, but is out for Tuesday’s game.
Kane reportedly overslept on Monday after attending the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night in Toronto — an affair which he took a private plane to.
When he spoke to the media on Tuesday, the Buffalo Sabres forward called the incident something he was “definitely going to learn from” and said he can “promise you… won’t happen again.
