The Buffalo Sabres lost to the Detroit Red Wings narrowly on Monday night, but they may have lost more than just the game.
Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane suffered an upper-body injury during the game.
Kane is now considered day-to-day.
With the Buffalo Sabres returning right back to action Tuesday night, it’s unlikely that Kane will play in the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Kane was hurt sometime during Monday night’s game, though it’s not clearly exactly when.
Kane’s last shift was near the end of the second period, from the 18:26 mark to the 19:16 mark.
