The Buffalo Sabres could use some help on the defensive end. Brandon Montour‘s return could do just that.
Brandon Montour missed most of the preseason with a left hand injury. While the injury didn’t require surgery, Montour was still expected to miss at least a month.
Montour is now expected to return within two weeks, he has recovered as expected with no complications. This means we could possibly see Montour back on October 28th at home against the Arizona Coyotes.
Montour played in just 20 games last season for the Sabres after he was dealt by Anaheim at the trade deadline.
