I’m at a loss, Buffalo Sabres fans.
Two nights after being outshot on the road by the Philadelphia Flyers in a 4-3 shootout loss, the Sabres flipped the switch and outshot the Minnesota Wild 38-22 . . . and get shutout, 4-0.
And two nights after turning in what should have been a winning effort against the Flyers, Anders Nilsson once again got the start in net . . . and gave up the sort of weak, bad-angle goals that will make fans wish Robin Lehner a speedy recovery.
Seriously – have you ever seen a team make losing look so easy?
