Tonight in Glendale, Arizona, the Arizona Coyotes host the Buffalo Sabres. Both teams are on a two-game losing streak. The ‘Yotes last game was a Friday night loss in Big-D, while the Sabres lost last night in Denver to the Avalanche.
The Coyotes have the league’s 29th spot pretty much locked up with 49 points. The last place Avalanche have 37 points and the 28th place Canucks have 58 points (https://www.nhl.com/standings), so from here on out Arizona is just fighting for its spot in the draft lottery.
However, on the flip side of the puck, the Buffalo Sabres are struggling to keep their playoff hopes alive.
