The Buffalo Sabres have acquired the rights to left winger Jimmy Vesey from the Nashville Predators, the team announced Monday.
In exchange, the Preds pick up the 76th-overall selection in the upcoming 2016 NHL Draft.
That pick has gotten around a little bit. It started off as Anaheim’s and went to New Jersey, Florida, Minnesota and Buffalo before now landing in Nashville.]
The Buffalo Sabres now have until August 15 to sign Vesey. If he’s not signed by that day, he’ll become an unrestricted free agent.
However, the likelihood that the Buffalo Sabres do sign Vesey seems to be pretty good.
