Women’s Soccer Adds Brianne Casey As Assistant Coach

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo women's soccer head coach Shawn Burke has announced the addition of Brianne Casey as assistant coach. Casey most recently served as an assistant coach at Southern Connecticut State University where she worked primarily with the goalkeepers.

"We are excited to welcome Bri to the UB women's soccer family," said Burke. "Her enthusiasm, knowledge and care for the student-athletes is what separated her from the other candidates. She will be a fantastic resource for our players and a great addition to our staff."

Casey spent two seasons on the coaching staff at Southern Connecticut where her responsibilities included developing the goalkeepers, recruiting, implementing team training sessions, compiling scouting reports and organizing the team's travel schedule, clinics and fundraising events.
