OXFORD, OH – Miami's Dion Wade went 1-of-2 from the free throw line with just over a second remaining on Tuesday night, breaking a 74-74 tie and leading Miami to a 75-74 win over the University at Buffalo men's basketball team. The loss snaps a two-game winning streak for the Bulls as they fall to 9-11 on the season and 3-4 in league play.
Early on, it seemed as if the Bulls were in good shape as Buffalo raced out to a 28-13 lead just nine and a half minutes into the game. Sophomore Nikola Rakicevic was solid early on as he had five of the first seven points for the Bulls.
