In a press conference early today new UCF Athletic Director Danny White unveiled his ambitious Orlando Knights Design (OKD).
"When I took this job, I had no idea UCF was in Orlando, home of Epcot Center and the Orlando Magic. I think the OKD gives us unbelievable potential, unprecedented potential in college athletics."
"When you think of the American Athletic Conference, you think of big amazing cities like Cincinnati, Tulsa, Memphis, and Houston, now you'll also think of Orlando."
While the University will remain the University of Central Florida, the logos on athletic fields and courts will be changed to Orlando, and all jerseys and helmets will now represent the city that the Knights play for.
