Coming off a five game unbeaten streak, women’s soccer (3-3-2) team fell to the Syracuse Orange (7-1-1) 2-0 Wednesday night at SU Soccer Stadium. Junior forward Sheridan Street and junior midfielder Alana O’Neill both contributed goals for the Orange.
“It’s one thing when you lose to a good team and you put a performance in,” said head coach Shawn Burke. “But really disappointed in the lack of performance from a lot of players today.”
The Bulls weren’t able to get much going against a Syracuse defense that has now gone 300 minutes without allowing a goal. SU’s aggressive play suffocated the Bull’s offense.
