BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo, The State University of New York placed 12 student-athletes on the Mid-American Conference Distinguished Scholar Athlete list during the 2015-16 academic season, as announced by the conference office on Monday. The 12 student-athletes were voted in by the Faculty Athletic Representatives at all MAC institutions and they were picked as the “best of the best” from each sports Academic All-MAC teams.
Leading the way for the Bulls was the women's soccer program who had a department-best four representatives, Julia Benati, Jackie Hall, Kassidy Kidd and Andrea Niper, make the MAC Distinguished Scholar Athletes list.
