CLEVELAND, OH – The University at Buffalo's Tyler Scheving was named MAC Track Athlete of Week, as announed Tuesday morning by the conference office. This comes on the heels of an impressive weekend that let Scheving with a new school record and a new personal best.
The first meet of the 2017 outdoor track and field season saw several first place finishes from numerous Bulls. Tyler Scheving's performance put his name in the record book, after coming in first in the 800m with a time of 1:48.37. His time broke the previous school record set in 2015.
