Men’s basketball (8-10, 2-3 Mid-American Conference)
The Buffalo Bulls men’s basketball team got things back on track this week with their second victory of 2017. They defeated the Kent State Golden Flashes (9-9, 1-4 MAC) 82-69 at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center. The game included many large runs from both teams and finished with the Bulls on a 23-5 run.
Sophomore guard CJ Massinburg led the Bulls with 22 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Sophomore forward Nick Perkins had a strong showing as well and finished with 17 points and six assists. Redshirt sophomore guard Dontay Caruthers also added five steals.
