Last Year: Franklin spent his freshman season backing up none other than Khalil Mack. He appeared in 10 games during his first season and recorded 21 tackles, 3.0 tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks. Made at least two tackles in four games as a true freshman. He looked to be the guy who would replace Mack until a back injury sidelined him in 2015.
2016 Outlook: During spring ball Franklin seemed be be a starter on the boundary of the 4-3 defense.
