BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo women's tennis sophomore Tanja Stojanovska has been named the MAC Co-Singles Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday morning. Stojanovska is the second UB player honored this season.
Stojanovska led the Bulls to a 2-0 start in Mid-American Conference play with a 6-1 win over Toledo and a 5-2 victory at Eastern Michigan. She opened the weekend with a 6-2, 6-1 win at first singles against the Rockets and also scored a victory in first doubles with partner Dayana Agasieva, 6-2. In the victory over Eastern Michigan, Stojanovska had a 5-7, 6-1, 6-4 victory at first singles, while her doubles match went unfinished.
