BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo women's basketball sophomore point guard Stephanie Reid was named Mid-American Conference East division Player of the Week on Monday afternoon, as announced by the league office. This marks the first time in her UB career that she has been honored with the weekly recognition.
The Bulls have been awarded MAC East Player of the Week five times this season as junior Joanna Smith has earned the award four times and Reid once.
The sophomore turned in her best week as a Bull this past week as she helped lead the Bulls to a pair of MAC victories including an upset of first-place Ohio on Saturday.
