BUFFALO, NY – After a dominant 8-0 shutout in the opening game of the doubleheader against Canisius on Wednesday afternoon, the University at Buffalo softball team (15-23, 6-8 MAC) wasn't able to secure the sweep as the Griffs came away with the 15-5 victory in the nightcap. Leandra Jew and Taylor Scott each notched their first career home runs in the game one victory over their crosstown rivals.
The Bulls were able to jump out to the quick 2-0 lead in the first inning as Jew led-off the game with a single left field and she came around to score on a RBI single from Anna Aguon.
