| Senior JoAnna Smith had her best week of the season against two of the favorites in the MAC this season. Smith averaged 20.0 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals while averaging 35.5 minutes. On Wednesday, Smith went off for a season-high 29 points on 9-for-21 from the floor, 5-for-12 from three point range and 6-for-6 at the charity stripe, all season-highs. With her sixth point of the game, Smith became the 23rd player in UB women's basketball history to surpass 1,000 career points. On Saturday, Smith finished with 11 points and two steals on the road at Central Michigan. |
