BUFFALO, NY - Sergio Arevalillo was named MAC Singles Player of the Week on Thursday. The honor comes after the Senior went 2-0 in Buffalo's matches against Binghamton and Western Michigan.
The Spaniard didn't drop a set in any of the matches. On Friday he defeated Binghamton's Caputo, 6-3, 6-1. He was one of the two victories for the Bulls on Sunday against Western Michigan where he won 6-2, 6-2, against Matt Hamilton. Arevalillo improves to 4-1 at third singles and 10-2 overall in non-tournament play with his two wins over the weekend and is now 52-45 on his career in singles play.
