KALAMAZOO, MI – Behind a strong second half defensive effort that allowed the Broncos to score just 22 points, the University at Buffalo women's basketball team (15-5, 5-4 MAC) collected a huge road victory over Western Michigan on Saturday, 62-47. The Bulls were led in scoring by JoAnna Smith who netted 27 points as she has gone over the 20-point plateau for the third straight game and fourth time in five for the Bulls.
The Buffalo defense was the difference in the game as they held the Broncos to just 26.
