BUFFALO, NY – Head University at Buffalo volleyball coach Blair Brown Lipsitz has announced the promotion of Scott Smith to associate head coach. Smith and Lipsitz just completed their fourth season together on the Buffalo sidelines.
Under Lipsitz and Smith, the Bulls have steadily improved each year, capped off with an 18-11 record this past season, including a 10-6 record in MAC play, UB's best record ever since joining the Mid-American Conference.
Smith serves as UB's recruiting coordinator and he has brought in some of the top talent to play for the Blue and White over the previous four years and his recruiting classes are continuing to improve each season.
