After missing the 2014-15 track and field season due to injury, Megan Patterson opened the 2015-16 season with a big win at the Great Dane Invite in the women’s shot put. She threw a MAC-leading distance of 15.46m (50’8.75”). Megan also placed fourth in the weight throw with a distance of 17.77m (58’3.75”) scoring a total of 15 points for the team.
Nick Rodriguez broke the UB one-meter dive (duals) school record against Miami (OH) and finished first with a score of 359.85. In the three meter dive Rodriguez earned a score of 316.
