In a somewhat expected move Rob Ianello has been named the interim head coach at Buffalo. This means one of two things:
1 - That it’s going to be his job, as he has been on staff longer than anyone here and was the associate head coach the last couple of years
2 - That he is once again going to keep the seat warm while UB does a coaching search to replace Lance Leipold.
Ianello has been at Buffalo almost seven years, but before then he had been around a bit
From 2005-09, Ianello served as wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator at Notre Dame.
