BUFFALO, NY – A trio of University at Buffalo softball players were honored on Tuesday afternoon as the Mid-American Conference announced its postseason awards. Sophomore Ally Power was named to the All-MAC Second Team, while Jenelle Martinez and Jessica Goldyn each earned All-Freshman Team honors.
Power earned the Utility/Pitcher spot on the second team as she saw action in both the circle and in the outfield for the Bulls. Power made 26 appearances in the circle, including 19 starts and 11 complete games. She had a 3.27 ERA and struck out 95 batters, all team-highs for UB this past season.
