BUFFALO, NY – For the first time in school history the University at Buffalo will send multiple players to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament as rosters were announced Monday for the premier pre-daft showcase event. Seniors CJ Massinburg and Nick Perkins were selected as two of 64 seniors selected for the event.
The 2019 Portsmouth Invitational tournament will run from April 17-20 in Portsmouth, VA. The Portsmouth rosters consist of 64 of the top senior basketball players in the nation. The four-day, 12-game tournament format is played before NBA representatives from all 30 teams and is considered a prime opportunity for players to maximize their visibility and skills.
