BUFFALO, NY – A first ever trip to Nebraska in 2021 highlights three future University at Buffalo football non-conference games announced on Tuesday. The Bulls have also finalized contracts with Rutgers and Delaware State.
Buffalo will travel to Nebraska to face the Cornhuskers on September 11, 2021. It will not only be the Bulls first trip to Lincoln, but the first time ever a UB football team will play in the Cornhusker State. UB head coach Lance Leipold was on the staff at Nebraska from 2001-2003.
"This is a great opportunity for our program to compete against a revered program like Nebraska," Athletic Director Allen Greene said.
