The Bulls opened up the series strong but dropped the next two as the Skyhawks of Tennessee Martin took the season opening series from the Bulls, two games to one.
Game 1 - UB 10, UTM 2
One fourth inning swing of Ben Haefner’s bat drove in three runs, broke the game open, and gave UB all the offense they would need in a 10-2 victory over the Skyhawks of UT Martin.
Kyle Brennan opened the fourth with a walk, but would get picked off on a failed bunt attempt by Brian Dudek. A single by Edwards, and two out walk by thrower brought in Haefner.
