PRINCETON, NJ – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team completed its second fall weekend at the Ivy-Plus Invitational hosted by Princeton University. The Bulls were one of 17 teams that sent players to the weekend event.
Sophomore Villhelm Fridell made it to the finals of the Cordish Draw, picking up three victories along the way. He opened with a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over Ryan Cheng from Yale and followed that up with a 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 victory against Max Fliegner of Dartmouth. He advanced to the Finals with another win over Ivy League competition, defeating Charles Tan from Brown, 3-6, 6-1, 6-3.
