BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo head coach Lee Nickell announced his five-man 2016-17 signing class on Friday afternoon. Billed as one of the best recruiting classes in program history, this five-man class has student-athletes from five different countries, Filip Grbic (Serbia), Petr Vodak (Czech Republic), Villhelm Fridell (Sweden), Hao Sheng Koay (Malaysia) and Konstantinos Tsakiris (Greece).
"I am pleased to announce the next generation of Buffalo Men's Tennis. This is the best class we have ever had, and credit goes to coach Jason Shkodnik for his hard work locking down these young men. We also have to thank every UB tennis alumni who have built a program that can attract players with ATP and international tennis experience.
