BUFFALO, NY – Fourth-year head coach Shawn Burke announced the addition of former University at Buffalo women's soccer player Megan Giesen to the UB coaching staff on Tuesday. Giesen played for the Bulls from 2011-2015 and will reunite with Burke and Buffalo following a season at Youngstown State. Her main job responsibilities will be travel, camps, recruiting and on field development of the UB midfielders.
"It gives me great pleasure to be returning to my alma mater, the University at Buffalo," stated Megan Giesen. "During my time as a student-athlete at UB, I was fortunate enough to play under Coach Burke and Coach Derkacz, and I now look forward to continuing my coaching career alongside them.
