April 8, 2019 Freshman Alexis Matheney had herself a day in Tuesday's doubleheader at Akron. Matheney went .667 (4-for-6) at the plate with five RBI, a grand slam, a double and four runs scored while recording a 1.333 slugging percentage and .778 on base percentage. Her four runs scored in game two tied a UB single-game record. Devon Patterson placed second in the Shot Put event at the Sam Howell Invitational hosted by Princeton University with a season’s best mark of 18.
