DAVIDSON, NC – The University at Buffalo baseball team collected their first runs of the season on Sunday morning but Marist handed them their third straight loss on Sunday afternoon at Wilson Field, 8-3. Mike Abrunzo had an impressive day at the plate for UB as he finished 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a RBI in the loss.
The Red Foxes opened the scoring in the opening inning as they were able to cross three runners across home plate, all with two outs. Tyler Kapuscinski drove in one run with a single to left field before Jack Shirk knocked in a pair with another single to left.
