Freshman outside hitter Milla Malik has been named to the MAC All-Freshman team. Malik finished the season averaging 3.77 kills per set and 4.09 points per set, both good for sixth in the MAC.
Malik missed the first six matches of the season due to an illness, but after that, she never left the court, playing all six rotations in all of the sets the remainder of the season. She had a high of 23 kills in one match (a four set match), and 13 straight matches in double figure kills.
She is the first UB volleyball player to be named to the All-Freshman team since 2017 when Andrea Mitrovic earned that honor.
