It didn't take long into the outdoor track and field season for UB's teams to set another school record. Malayah White, fresh off a MAC championship in the 60m dash indoors, lowered the Bulls mark in the 100m dash - the shortest outdoor event - by .08 seconds to highlight the first day at the Wake Forest Open Friday.
White's record breaks one of the newest marks on the books, as she runs 11.75 in the 100 in the first meet since teammate Tyra Forbes ran 11.83 to set a school record at the 2015 MAC Outdoor Championships, and continues the very strong 2016 for UB's sprinters, as both White and Darien Johnson have lowered and lowered again school records since the new year.
