CLEVELAND, OH – University at Buffalo defensive end Chuck Harris was named the Mid-American Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. It is the eighth time this season a UB player has been named Player of the Week and Harris is the seventh different Bull to earn the honor.
Harris had a career-best 13 tackles and added a sack in Buffalo's first-ever win at Ball State on Thursday night. The junior defensive end also had three quarterback hurries in the game. His sack on Ball State's final play of the game sealed the win for the Bulls.
