The Game:
After two hard to swallow road losses the UB Bulls come home for the first time this season to take on Colgate, of the Football Championship Subdivision. Last season the Bulls were stung in their home opener by an FCS squad so the team is hopefully laser focused on winning this years “cupcake” game.
Colgate is led by fourth-year head coach Dan Hunt, who in 2015 led the Raiders to a Patriot League title and an FCS playoff run that got the team all the way to the Quarterfinals. This season they are 1-1 after a win over Cal Poly and a tight loss to FCS #9 Richmond.
