BUFFALO, NY – Two members of the University at Buffalo football team were named to the 2016 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, the league announced on Tuesday. Junior linebacker Jarrett Franklin and senior longsnapper Corbin Grassman were both named the team.
Franklin is an electrical engineering major with a 3.2 grade point average. He ranked third on the team in tackles with 75 (45 solo). The Missouri native added 3 tackles for loss, a sack, a pass breakup, 3 quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery. Franklin had double-digit tackles three times on the season, including a career-high 17 tackles against Army.
