Fechko Promoted to Wrestling Associate Head Coach

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo wrestling head coach John Stutzman has announced the promotion Boomer Fechko to association head coach. Fechko is entering his third season with the UB wrestling program.

Since being hired as an assistant coach in 2015, Fechko has made a major impact with the Bulls' lightweight wrestlers. In 2016, Fechko helped coach Bryan Lantry (133) and Colt Cotten (149) to the NCAAs. In 2017, Lantry returned to the NCAAs and finished one win shy of the podium. Kyle Akins (125) also advanced to the NCAAs.

"Coach Fechko has done a tremendous job here," Stutzman said.
