Crimmins, Shaw break school records at Division I Invite

GENEVA, OH - The Bulls started off the two-day Spire Division I Invite in historic fashion with two records falling. This is the fourth-straight week where a member of the UB track and field teams has broken a school record.

Brian Crimmins set a school record for the third time this year and placed first in the event by running 2:22.74 in the 1000 meter run and breaking Tyler Scheving's 2015 record in the event. In the 5000m run Amy Shaw shattered the previous record of 16:34.04, which was set by Jenny Koeppel at the 2005 ECAC Championships, with finishing time of 16:29.
