BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo Director of Track and Field/Cross Country Vicki Mitchell has announced the hiring of Nick Collins to the track and field coaching staff. Collins will oversee the jumps and combined events for the Bulls.
Collins most recently coached at Northwest Nazarene University where he was the associate head coach/director of operations for the track and field teams. In his four years with the Nighthawks, his student-athletes set 12 school records in the jumps and combined events under his guidance. Twenty of his student-athletes qualified for the NCAA Championships and Collins was twice named USTFCCCA West Region Men's Assistant Coach of the Year.
