BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo track & field program closed out their regular season on Friday at the Jim Thorpe Invitational hosted by Penn State. The day was highlighted by sophomore Brandon Burke's record-breaking showing in the high jump event, clearing the bar at a height of 2.20m, a new program record. The mark currently ranks Burke second in the MAC.
Notable women's performances:
- Freshman Antoinette Miller placed first in the 100m race, clocking in a time of 12.44.
- Amy Villarini collected the win in the 200m event with a time of 24.
