BOWLING GREEN, OHIO - Buffalo women's swimming and diving team started the MAC Championships on Thursday with strong performances all around. On the first night of the four-day event, UB won the 800 yard freestyle relay and also broke the school record in the process. After two events, UB sits third at the MAC Championships with 64 points, but UB only trails second-place Eastern Michigan by two points.
Megan Burns swam the anchor leg in 1:46.90, which was the fastest 200 yard split amongst all competitors in the event, to seal the Bulls' victory at the 800 freestyle relay.
