BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team used a 14-0 second half run en route to an 87-70 win over Kent State on Tuesday night. The Bulls outscored the Golden Flashes 51-37 in the second half and UB has now defeated Kent State six straight times. With the win, the Bulls improve to 16-12 on the season and 9-6 in MAC play.
The two teams went back and forth in the first half as Kent State held its largest lead of the game at four with an early 16-12 advantage. The Bulls responded with seven straight points as a fast-break layup from freshman CJ Massinburg gave the Bulls a 19-16 lead.
