Bulls Split against George Mason and Princeton at the Grapple at the Garden

NEW YORK – The University at Buffalo wrestling team split a pair of duals at the Grapple at the Garden on Sunday. The Bulls defeated George Mason, 32-9, before losing to Princeton, 28-12, at the famed Madison Square Garden.

Against George Mason in the opener, the Bulls got off to a great start as Derek Spann and Bryan Lantry pinned their respective opponents to put the Bulls ahead, 12-0. Spann pinned Trevor Mello at the 5:42 mark for his first career pin in a dual. Lantry pinned his opponent, Lio Quezada, at the 6:10 mark.
