BUFFALO, NY – Winners of two straight duals, the University at Buffalo wrestling team will face its toughest test of the young season when it travels to Missouri on Sunday afternoon. The seven-time defending Mid-American Conference champions are ranked seventh in the nation this season.
The Bulls are coming off consecutive duals wins against Binghamton on December 6 and George Mason on December 8 to improve to 5-2 on the season. Heavyweight Jake Gunning was one of several UB wrestlers to go 2-0 on the Bulls recent road trip and capped off the trip with a 3-1 decision over eighth-ranked Matthew Voss of George Mason.
