Bulls hang close, fall to the Gophers

As Buffalo opened up the season the offense clearly had some rust to shake off. The Bulls went three and out on their first two drives and then missed a field goal on the third. While this was going on P.J. Fleck and the Gophers turned a blown coverage into a 61 yard touchdown pass.

But as the Quarter wore on the Bulls started to get Anthony Johnson into the mix. Johnson had back to back catches (50,16) which capped a 68 yard scoring drive to tie the game.

Minnesota added another score near the end of the first and were closing in on one near the half when Conor Rhoda tried to sneak a pass into the corner of the endzone.
